The “notebook” story

First of all, I would like to tell you about the notebook. This is not just a book with papers. This is our treasury.
In Outsource Partner Studio every member of the team – thinks different. And every day we create a new ideas, new thoughts. It can be anything, like the idea of new business, the idea of creating an interesting outdoor advertising or the ways the website can look like. Anything!
We think that it is very important to write it down, because anybody can lose this idea in few days and forget about it.
We open a new page every day and write something there! Something special!
Some ideas can even look stupid but in a few months, you can read the whole notebook and discover that it wasn’t! It was genius!

This is how the workflow goes…

When I first met Jill, I already knew what she needs.

She found me on Skype that night.
She was looking for a web designer and I was available that time.

Jill told me that she has an online store in France. She was selling delicatessen. It had more than horrible look and feel.
The biggest trouble Jill suffered was small sales. And I understood why…

We started to think about creating a new logo for her business. I showed her a first mockup in few day and she liked it a lot, We only made some minor modifications and the logo was ready to go.
Then she tried to find out how to increase sales. And the first thing we did was unique copywriting. While she was preparing some materials for our copywriters I began to create design mockups for the first page.
Before creating anything I tried to find some unique idea for the layout.  And I found it.

Jill fell in love with my design after the first time she saw it. It was even more than she could expect for that money.

We finished creating the design of all pages for the store and my guys began to make HTML/CSS.
After few months of a good work, Jill`s Magento store was ready.
Today she has up to 15 orders per day and this is what I call a good design

It doesn’t matter how pretty it is! If the design can`t sell – this is not a design. If the design is hard to use and hard to understand – this is not a design.
